This super contemporary kitchen is the focal point in a large-scale conversion forming part of a farmhouse, barns and outbuildings that date back 400 years.
The project undertaken in two phases over a period of several years has totally transformed the property which now provides a unique family home for today’s lifestyle.
THE THREAD WE NEEDED
Inspired by a room set shown on the hit TV series Bridgerton, our clients brief was to create a contemporary kitchen for their period home but with a nod somehow to the classical character of the original interior architecture. The wall panelling in an afternoon tea shot was the thread we needed to create this stunning kitchen.
Having previously worked for this client on another historic property, we had a valuable insight into what it takes to convert this family home into a spectacular country house, honouring the period features.
THE PERFECT OUTDOOR ENTERTAINER
A pavilion built to house an outdoor kitchen and cocktail bar complete with professional equipment that any TV chef would be impressed with.
Using the combination of the Italian brand Poliform and Rimadesio gave this home a modern refresh.
Our client brief was to keep the period features that we enjoy front of house but extend and open up the back of the house with contemporary architecture and an elegant interior.
The interior of this new build home is sleek and contemporary for today’s lifestyle, exactly what the client ordered, but more so it has a level of luxury beyond expectation.
A distinguished handle that shows beautiful form as well as comfortable and reliable function.
We show the development from a crafted wood former, to the first series in organic cast aluminium and then its successor, an engineered version for ease of production.
The spear handle is part of the McCarron and Co collection and is available in a choice of metals from Stephen Neall Interiors.
