OUR ART AND EXPO STORY

Inspired by Andy Warhol’s 1960’s studio in New York, The Factory building in Harrogate is a perfect meeting venue for designers, architects and for those looking for high end design.

With bare brick walls and an outdoor space, we have created a stunning location – not only as a commercial office and showroom, but a venue for events and exhibitions.

Some exhibits on show at The Factory building are for sale, details and links to prices can be seen below.

EMPRESSES SERIES by DAMIEN HIRST

We consider ourselves truly fortunate to showcase two stunning Damien Hirst prints from the ‘Empresses’ series in our Harrogate showroom. Among the collection, we are proud to display the captivating artworks ‘Suiko’ and ‘Wu Zetian’. These exquisite prints have been graciously provided to us by RedHouse Originals in Harrogate.

The striking Empresses prints are constructed of beautiful images of red butterfly wings, which are intricately arranged with a filigree of red glitter to produce visually intoxicating kaleidoscope-like effects. The prints are named after five exceptionally influential female rulers: Wu ZetianNūr JahānTheodoraSuiko and Taytu Betul. Their characters and stories are enhanced by the dominant red tone of the series, which deals with themes such as life, war, power, anger, love, joy and luck.
