  10. Cookies Policy – Information the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS collects from you
    a. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes a unique identifier that is sent to your computer, tablet or mobile phone (referred to here as a “device”) browser from a website’s computer and is stored on your device’s hard drive. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other websites. Many websites do this whenever a user visits their website in order to track online traffic flows.

On STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS websites, cookies record information about your online preferences and allow us to tailor our websites to your interests.
During the course of any visit to a STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS website, the pages you see, along with a cookie, are downloaded to your device. Many websites do this, because cookies enable website publishers to do useful things like find out whether the device (and probably its user) has visited the website before. This is done on a repeat visit by checking to see, and finding, the cookie left there on the last visit.

  1. How does the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS use cookies?
Information supplied by cookies can help us to analyse the profile of our visitors and help us to provide you with a better user experience. For example, if on a previous visit you went to particular product pages, we might find this out from your cookie and highlight other relevant product information on your second and subsequent visits. The STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS uses this type of information to help improve the services and products it provides to its users. All third parties are strictly required not to use any information for their own business or other purposes (see section 6 above).
  2. Third Party Cookies in embedded content on STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS pages
Please note that during your visits to STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS websites you may notice some cookies that are not related to the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS or the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS’s contractors. When you visit a page with content embedded from, for example, YouTube or Flickr, you may be presented with cookies from these websites. The STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS does not control the dissemination of these cookies. You should check the third party websites for more information about these. Find out more about third party cookies in embedded content.
  3. STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS cookies and how to reject cookies?
Full information about how the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS uses cookies can be found in the cookies section of the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS Privacy & Cookies website.
If you wish to control what cookies are set on your device through the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS website then you can find out how to do this in the Managing Cookies section of the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS Privacy & Cookies website. It is important to note that if you change your settings and block certain cookies, this means that certain personalised features cannot then be provided and accordingly you may not be able to take full advantage of all of the websites’ features.
  4. Do Not Track (DNT) browser setting
DNT is a feature offered by some browsers which, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing is not tracked, such as by third party ad networks, social networks and analytic companies. This website does not currently respond to DNT requests, however, you may opt-out of tracking on this website, including analytics.
A uniform standard has not yet been adopted to determine how DNT requests should be interpreted and what actions should be taken by websites and third parties. The STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS will continue to review DNT and other new technologies and may adopt a DNT standard once available.
  5. Changes to STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS’s Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time so you may wish to check it each time you submit personal information to the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS. The date of the most recent revisions will appear on this page. If you do not agree to these changes, please do not continue to use STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS websites to submit personal information to the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS. If material changes are made to the Privacy Policy we will notify you by placing a prominent notice on the website.
  6. Contacting the STEPHEN NEALL INTERIORS about this Privacy Policy

  • Cookie information

Most websites you visit will use cookies in order to improve your user experience by enabling that website to ‘remember’ you, either for the duration of your visit (using a ‘session cookie’) or for repeat visits (using a ‘persistent cookie’).

Cookies do lots of different jobs, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, storing your preferences, and generally improving your experience of a website. Cookies make the interaction between you and the website faster and easier. If a website doesn’t use cookies, it will think you are a new visitor every time you move to a new page on the site – for example, when you enter your login details and move to another page it won’t recognise you and it won’t be able to keep you logged in.

Some websites will also use cookies to enable them to target their advertising or marketing messages based for example, on your location and/or browsing habits.

Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting (‘first party cookies’) or they may be set by other websites who run content on the page you are viewing (‘third party cookies’).

What is in a cookie?

A cookie is a simple text file that is stored on your computer or mobile device by a website’s server and only that server will be able to retrieve or read the contents of that cookie. Each cookie is unique to your web browser. It will contain some anonymous information such as a unique identifier and the site name and some digits and numbers. It allows a website to remember things like your preferences or what’s in your shopping basket.

What to do if you don’t want cookies to be set

Some people find the idea of a website storing information on their computer or mobile device a bit intrusive, particularly when this information is stored and used by a third party without them knowing. Although this is generally quite harmless you may not, for example, want to see advertising that has been targeted to your interests. If you prefer, it is possible to block some or all cookies, or even to delete cookies that have already been set; but you need to be aware that you might lose some functions of that website.
