FARMHOUSE CONVERSION
THE BUILD
This super contemporary kitchen is the focal point in a large-scale conversion forming part of a farmhouse, barns and outbuildings that date back 400 years.
The project undertaken in two phases over a period of several years has totally transformed the property which now provides a unique family home for today’s lifestyle.
CHOSEN MATERIALS
Materials are somewhat traditionally opposed but remarkably with stunning effect. Natural Calacatta marble, champagne coloured metal, matt white glass, glacier white Corian and neutral backdrop of cement grey porcelain.
THE ICE TROUGH
Obsessive detail is given to the transition from natural marble to Corian for the ice trough, worksurfaces and in the application of cladding around the central island.
REFINED DETAIL
The way that a designer deals with the transition from one material to another will focus our attention on that detail.
Refined detail is often lost in budgeting or in translation from a designer’s drawing board to the workbench.
The detail makes the difference between the plethora of “specialists” in our field and the innovators and artisans at Stephen Neall, a team with a passion.
PROFESSIONAL GRADE BRANDS
The equipment suppliers for the kitchen are premium brand – Gaggenau and include the latest technology in cooking, cooling and washing.
