THE BIRTH OF SUB-ZERO
In 1926, using salvaged scrap metal, Westye F. Bakke built the first freestanding freezer prototype in his basement, an invention that kick-started a series of pioneering creations and triggered the birth of the Sub-Zero Freezer Company.
